Maju Expressway (MEX) is an expressway network in Klang Valley. Malaysia. the 26km long expressway links the Kuala Lumpur City Centre with the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang, Selangor. From Kampung Pandan Interchange, MEX traverses Kuala Lumpur in a southerly direction. The elevated MEX crosses over and avoids the Kuala Lumpur – Seremban Highway, Sungai Besi Expressway (BESRAYA), East West Link Highway and Shah Alam Expressway (KESAS) at some of the most congested points in the country. It then enters the southern zone of the Federal Capital and passes landmarks such as Bukit Jalil Sports Complex and Technology Park Malaysia.Crossing the boundary of Kuala Lumpur, MEX heads straight for the verdant, rolling countryside in Selangor State, at-grade and long scenic route that takes it over gentle hills and valleys.
The expressway was constructed in 2004 and was completed in 2007.
